Sculpture

Cotton sheets, velvet, bronze.

180x150x15cm

I was thinking about how the materials that surround you shape your material sensitivity. When I was studying in Mexico City, I made a set of cotton bedsheets for myself. When I returned to Guadalajara, I used those same sheets over structures that resemble territories, as if one were floating above the other. This is what it feels like to live in two cities at the same time. Bronze casts seep and drip between both planes.
