Dimensions variable

An installation featuring two water tanks salvaged from a house under demolition. Filled with water, one of them contains a tablet inside a sealed container, where decontextualized videos are shown—images that refer to situations exposing the body to vulnerability. Fear observed from the safety of a wall of water: distant, immobile, harmless. However, the tablet’s audio cable exits the container, runs downward, and travels to the surface of the other tank, where it produces an atmospheric, unlocatable sound through a hidden speaker. As if fear were able to seep through, to leak between the barriers erected by consciousness, taking on other forms.
